Diane Stewart is an attorney, international legal consultant, social impact investor and human rights advocate. Her practice focuses on providing external general counsel services to private U.S. and international companies and advising private equity and social impact investors. Her 20+ years of experience in Europe, China, Asia and the U.S. has included representing Fortune 500 companies, state-owned entities, private funds, start-ups, as well as nonprofits, in a broad range of transactions and general corporate matters. Ms. Stewart’s previous positions include partner of the international law firm of Coudert Brothers in its San Francisco, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore offices, and director of strategic M&A development for the Norwegian telecom Telenor in Southeast Asia. Ms. Stewart co-founded the Stanford Women’s Network UK and is active on the leadership committee of Stanford OVAL UK. She also serves as a UK trustee of PILnet: The Global Network for Public Interest Law, and as an advisor to the Dhillon-Marty Foundation.
She received her A.B. from Stanford University and her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. She is admitted to the bars of California and New York and has qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales.
